My name is Hunter Reeves and I am the current Multicultural Affairs and Minority Viewpoints (MAMV) chairman for Student Affairs Senate. MAMV, as well as Pre-Law Club, will be hosting Amy Miller in Callen Conference Center on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 4:30pm. Amy, who is the Legal Director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Nebraska, will be talking about public policies and their impact on the rights of immigrants and refugees. We will have snacks at the event and time for questions.

Also… Student Affairs Senate MAMV, MOSAIC, and IRO will also be hosting an Asian Culture Night in O’Donnell Auditorium on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 7:30pm. The event will include Jing Mo Tong Lion Dance Group, ACCC Silk Road Fashion Group, and a traditional Chinese singer. The event will also include a short talk about the nonprofit Asian Community and Cultural Center by Rebecca Reinhardt. Following the event, there will be candy to try from several Asian countries.

Student Affairs Senate MAMV, MOSAIC, Pre-Law Club, and IRO would love to see your department and students at these events!

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me.

Hunter Reeves
