Our A History of New Mexico Since Statehood has just been awarded the prestigious Gaspar Perez de Villagra award at the New Mexico Governor’s Mansion. Given by the Historical Society of New Mexico (the oldest Historical Society west of the Missouri River) awards the Outstanding Publication in History!

It was a glorious evening with my co-authors Richard Melzer and Robert Torrez!
